Manos Achalinotopoulos Trio releases new single: “Picture”

20/1/2023 | Centered by Manos Achalinotopoulos’’ clarinet as one ultra-local vehicle with deep roots in traditions, the Manos Achalinotopoulos Trio featuring pianist Yann Keerim and unique bass player Lambros Papanikolaou presents the new single “F Passage”. F passage, says Manos Achalinotopoulos, is simply the inner room, the secret garden. This “foo” (F) of a magician on the street who blows into a circle and magic iridescent bubbles come out in various shapes and the children run along to catch them. “My “foo” (F) on little wooden instruments I blew at when I was a child, what seemed to start a fire from a spark. Then with shadows and sidelong glances, with silences and sighs, my inner gardens are created each time and I have a feeling that they keep singing the same song over and over again…”.
The new trio combines the fire of the primeval and the rituals in lyricism and the modern world. Carrying colors and scents from constant travels all over the planet, Manos Achalinotopoulos trio presents their second single release, four months after “Picture” was released.
